IT'S A GIRL! (and Gtown radio revised)

Catzie had a baby girl this morning! Yay! Congratulations to new mommy and beautiful daughter!

This means that I will be on Gtown Radio solo tonight--please check it out at around 9:15pm.

Here's the announcement:

tune-in to http://www.gtownradio.com/ tonite from 9-10PM:

FEATURE POETS: YELLOW RAGE

Michelle Myers and Catzie Vilayphonh are founding members of the spoken word group YELLOW RAGE, a dynamic duo of Philly-based Asian American female spoken word poets. Yellow Rage gained national attention when they performed on the first season of the critically-acclaimed HBO television series "Russell Simmons Presents Def Poetry," which first aired in December 2001. Through their poetry, Catzie and Michelle hope to provide an awareness that is not often heard. Exploring topics from fetishes to cultural appropriation to ethnic pride, Yellow Rage challenges mainstream misconceptions of Asianness.
