Chicago pIcs

This is like a week late, but hey! Better late than never right? Anyway, here are the pics from our trip to Chicago at Columbia College.

Lumpy beds, but they were comfortable!

Couldn't be in the Chi without getting some deep dish, went to Lou Manatti's since they were right around the corner.

Huuuuuuuge cheese breadsticks...
and a huuuuuuuuuge lemon used for garnish because I dont know how we're supposed to eat this thing in any way. And then my sausage pizza arrived!

Some interesting architecture on the way back.
Some interesting art inside Columbia's Multicultural department...

Had a fun Q&A with the students, they even sat on beanbags!
On the way to the auditorium, we founhd more interesting artwork, don't know what these were (trash cans?) but they sure caught our attention.

Look at what we found in the elevator... heheh.
Time to start the show. Who wants a free t-shirt?
This guy did his whole piece in Spanish. It was awesome.

She's not only a performer, but she was also our DJ!
Remember Ashley from Fusion T in New Jersey? She moved out to the Midwest and opened up for our show with three, count em, three pieces. Go girl!
Group picture time! Sorry it's so dark, my flash was only set for closeups. And no I dont know anybody's name.
Time for another Chicago treat - Portillio's hot dogs! Yummy!
Who cares if it's across the street from Mickey D's, we're getting Portillos.

Look at all those toppings, can I really finish this thing, I mean it is a jumbo sized dog.
Oh I sure did. Soooooooo good, not mentioning the chocolate cake shake. Oh Im gonna need some new pants.
Jona, manager for the Pacifics and Two Tomngues came out to say hi despite being under the weather - thanks for the love Jona!
The next morning Anida (from Two Tongues) met up with us to have super early early breakfast (6am!), since we were pressed for time we went to this spot Yolk around the corner from our hotel.
Got the Eggs Benedict with the chorizo, spicy but yummy!
Anida is contemplating what to eat first.
And Michelle's plate looks so neat doesnt it?
That's it, next time I will try to write dont and remember everyone's names, sorry! Hope you had a good Halloween and are rooting for the Phillies too!
